Took my 370Z in for two new rear tires. Was told that I would also need a front/rear alignment ($100). Hesitant to do so because my car drove so perfectly. Ultimately paid Firestone to do the alignment. Several days later when I took it on the interstate, I had the crap scared out of me. Found out that at higher speeds the car wandered so badly it felt like control could easily be lost. I immediately called Firestone and scheduled an appointment for the next day for the alignment to be redone at no charge. The alignment was redone and my car is better, but still not properly aligned (still wanders). It is clear to me that Firestone is unqualified to do alignments(atleast on sports cars). I will pay a different auto repair company another $100 to put my car back to what it was prior to Firestone. Feels like it was an unnecessary upsell.. AKA rip off!!! I will never go to a Firestone again.
And FYI.. you will wait an hour with OR without an appointment.

It started ok, but has been the worst experience since. They told me I would have free rotation at any firestone or sister corperation, however, the first firestone I went to told me they would charge me for the rotation. Then I took it to the original store and they took an extra 2.5 hours on top of the time quoted for me for just a simple rotation. Without having to remove the wheels since my experience there I went back for a third time, (so I know it was them) they had cross threaded and ruined 3 different bolts with the lug nuts. In essence they messed up on 3 of the 4 tires. The front of the house manager came and told me that they would fix it next time, basically he tried to send me out on the road with 3 out of 4 lug nuts attaching 2 of my 4 tires. The customer service for firestone is somehow even worse. They tell you they are going to call you back in 48 hours and never do, I called 3 times and they don't even have a record of the first 2 times. These people are willing to sacrifice the safety of not only their customers but for everyone on the road. One of the worst companies I've had to deal with.

Lead down the wrong path for a fully warrantied problem!

Without going into all of the details, I just wanted to give you all a heads up to think twice about doing any needed auto service/repairs at Firestone Complete Auto Care in North Smithfield, RI (at least at this current moment in time). I was convinced by the service manager and technition that replacing "this and that" would fix a very specific problem when it was something else all along. What makes this so frustrating is that I had suspected the exact cause of the issue all along and discussed this with the manager who wrote up my work order, from the very beginning. Unfortunately, they choose to lead me down another path, fixing and/or replacing items that were not contributing to the problem and causing me to needlessly spend over a $1,000 above and beyond the actual issue, which, get this, turns out to be exactly the very thing that I suspected. A $150.00 part that this service center had previously replaced in my vehicle a few years ago and was under a lifetime warranty!
They swindled me big-time! ????

I was a recent customer of Firestone on…

I was a recent customer of Firestone on April 6,2021. I made my appointment online and as I drive a 2011 bmw 335i. I was kind of ske out to take it in, But bmw was going to be a two week wait. So being as I love love love my dream car, I decided to give them a try but before I went in, I addressed my concerns about them being able to service my type of vehicle. So I decided to call first and confirm they saw my scheduled appointment along with my notes concerning my concerns about my car. Being that I’ve never used them I wanted to be sure. They told me they couldn’t do the alignment but could do the oil change and I asked, if they were sure they said yes. So since they could do the oil change. I decided to give them a try in hopes of becoming a repeat customer Having a option if bmw was ever weeks out for maintenance. So I went in and again I asked are you sure you can do the proper service to my car. The employee said yes we can. So I proceeded to wait and I was still nervous but I decided to have faith. Well that faith was shattered car shakes worser then ever. And then started squealing horrible which was so embrassing. So I called and told them what the problem was,and they said bring it in, and I did but something just told me to look under the hood as I hadn’t since there work. To my horror oil was leaking in my engine and on my belt. Just goosing out. I was horrified so I let the oil drdrive it in because at this point I don’t trust getting my car towed by anyone, So I decide to take it in and see. Took it in had the employee look at my car and the manger and they told me Oh we forgot to put the seal ring on your car. I was so shocked beyond all comprehension. And I asked him didn’t you tell me you could do the requested worked he said yes but we didn’t know you need a seal because of we’re the seal is placed on the engine. So he told me we will fix it so I asked him what about my engine and belt since the oil was leaking onto both parts. He assured me everything was going to be okay. Well that was a lie the put the seal on and he said he cleaned the belt and put all the oil back in which I’m still hesitant to believe Ugh. So I left and I would say three are four days later it still squeaked and again at this time I forgot to mention they went ahead and did the alignment anyway which caused it to be a rougher ride. So as I was so focused on the possible damage that the oil change did. I lost track of the alignment to so I went in and they asked if I could come back tomorrow. I was livid but remained car as this is the third time I had to come back in. So I left Not feeling the least bet better. So I’m the morning at around 7-8:00 am I called them and asked them if there was another location because that night before I was 2 go back. Battery says not charging and for me cuts off going through green light car died . Traffic behind me.Thank good my car turned on and was operable. So I made it home so scarred it’ll cut off again in traffic again. But I did make it home. So I called early am stated another Firestone location is closer 2 me The employee said yes I could take it there fir repair service,are there. As everything has been a lie thus far. So I made it to the shop roughy two miles from my house. Scared the whole time thinking about the battery willnt beable to keep the charged long enough. I made it to the shop only to be tolded They couldn’t do the work because they don’t have the right equipment????????Excuse ME ... Arent y’all the same company. And being that the employee drove a bmw same body style just different class he told me there was nothing he could do, But he did look at it only to find my belt shredded and wrapped up in the engine belt turn. Moral of the story my car has been on there lot for seven days unattended to are fixed. And I lost my job because I couldn’t got to the assignment because you need your car. My lease is up on the 5-12-2021 and guess what I don’t have a way to take care of any business at all. Are move if my cars not fixed. Never got a rental car offered are refund. Nothing as of yet but stress on top of emotional distress for me being taking advantage of. You’d think that after being Class A which I recently found out about. They would have learned there lesion guess not So I’d say maybe another CA is in order As they are in breach of trust in everyway, and negligent for causing damage that never existed. This has to be some type of thing with them. Oil changed before when I brought the car. inspected passed with flying colors and belt never broke not once. No oil spills are leaks ruff ride / belt issues. So I’d like to say thank you firestone !!!!!!!! False misleading, and unconcerned C.A

Good afternoon to everyone that work for the Firestone Complete Auto Care Customer Center how are all of yous doing today.I do hope that all of yous are doing ok smile. Also I do hope that all of yous will have a very good day at work ok smile. In ending I want to tell all of yous that your Agent name Tiara was so very very Professional Helpful and very very Caring when I called in to discuss my Payment due etc ok smile. Last of all she's also a very Positive Role Model for all young and old workers that work in the Billing Department for the Firestone Complete Auto care Business store and she always have very very very very very Excellent Communication skills and she knows and loves her job so very much too ok smile. Best Firestone Manager Ever

Firestone has been my go to facility for many years, over 30 as an estimate. Different managers have varied over the years, but one of my absolute favorites, for the below listed reasons, has been Mr Dean Goupil now in Smyrna, TN. As far as I am concerned, this man has it all and is worth his weight in gold.
Dean has been consistent in every capacity over the span of at least four vehicles that I have had serviced at Firestone. His demeanor has always been relaxed and fair minded; his knowledge of the mechanical field surpasses any that I have known; he is consistently honest, and he is an excellent people person, both with the public and especially with his staff.
I am certain without a doubt that after all is said and done, my vehicle will be repaired to perfection and the price competitive in the marketplace. I hope this appraisal goes all the way to the Corporate Office so this remarkable man will be recognized for his excellence and not taken for granted.

Horrible place and a ripoff

PLEASE I BEG ANYONE DO NOT GO HERE. BROUGHT MY EQUINOX IN GOR A REAR MAIN SEAL. LONG STORY SHORT LEFT WITH A 2700 DOLLAR BILL AND STILL HAD MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. I BROUGHT IT TO GREY CHEVROLET AND TURNS OUT EVERYTHING FIRESTONE WAS WRONG. WITH THE DIGONASTIC TEST AT CHEVY FOUND OUT EVERYTHING THAT FIRESTONE DID WAS WRONG AND INCORRECT. MANNY THE SUPERVISOR WILL JUST TELL YOU WHATEVER TO GET HIMSELF OUTTA A JAM. THERE'S MORE BUT TO MUCH TO WRITE. DO YOUR CAR A POCKET A FAVOR STAY AWAY

I'm a mechanic of 15 years.... No oil... Bad alignment. Tire wear. Horrible customer service. No call backs from corpora ...

So I'm a mechanic of 15 years... And I don't own an alignment machine. I thought the smartest move to make would be to get a lifetime alignment since I plan on keeping the car. I have recommended so many people to their services based on their promises. I have not had a proper alignment done in 2 whole years by this company
My tires are worn unevenly and 2 mechanics and discount tires manager wrote me a note explaining that these issues are 100% based on a half ass alignment. A lazy mechanic. Someone trying to get paid without doing there job. I am not happy! This is the worst company ever with the worst policies ever. Not to mention I have not recieved any call back from a corporate office. After calling numerous times. My other car they forgot to put oil in it. They didn't do a complete inspection properly. All I asked was for them to replace the tires (free of charge only after discount tire pointed out that the tire wear was 100% because of a improper alignment-per DT store manager and sales rep.) based on the fact that Firestone couldn't fix the alignment and the cause of my uneven tire wear is due to an alignment issue. I have done ALL REQUESTED MAINTNENCE AND DONE ALL WORK THEY REQUESTED SPENDING, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. WITHOUT THEM DOING ANYTHING RIGHT. every employee has been fired from the previous crew and they have all new people. My strut mount bolt was LOOSENED by a mechanic at the store in Arizona. Saying that would fix my problems. The alignment is hardly in spec and never done evenly. My tires are the proof. I've been not driving this car for 2 entire years because I want my case heard and FIXED. I PLAN ON KEEPING THIS CAR FOR LIFE. AND NOW THEY HAVE CAUSED MORE PROBLEMS THAN THEY HAVE FIXED. I wanted to take it to the Chevy dealer. And I received calls from sales reps at Firestone explaining they could fix my car and they have all new techs... so I obliged more than 4 different times and this issue HAS NEVER BEEN RESOLVED AND NOW I HAVE NORE ISSUES THAN I STARTED WITH AND HAVE RECIEVED ZERO HELP. I PLAN ON FILING A LAWSUIT BY FRIDAY IF I DON'T GET CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY WITH A 'FAIR RESOLUTION' BASED ON INCOMPETENT MECHANICS. I did my part and kept on the maintnence. Also I do hope that all of yous will have a very wonderful day and yes always enjoy life ok smile. In ending I just want to tell all of yous that Mr Jared the Rep. that work at the Firestone Complete Auto Care locate at 7950 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, 85710 was very very very Professional Helpful and very very Caring when our Ecosport Car was bought in for a scheduled Oil Change which was done completely in a short time and both of us say JOB WELL DONE ok smile.
